About SIERMAN
Founded in 2011, Sierman Musical Instrument Company was built on a simple belief:
great instruments come from people who understand sound, respect craftsmanship, and listen closely to musicians.
The roots of Sierman trace back even further. Seventeen years ago, our founder began working in a brass instrument manufactory in Dalian, where he learned the traditional craft of rotary valve brass instruments. Under the guidance of experienced masters, instrument making became more than a technical skill—it became a way of understanding sound, work, and life itself.
After a decade of hands-on craftsmanship and professional experience, Sierman was established in Langfang, China, located in the Beijing–Tianjin corridor. Today, all core components and assemblies—valves, slides, bells, and final fitting—are produced and assembled in-house. This allows us to maintain direct control over consistency, response, and tonal character at every stage of production.
At Sierman, we believe that not all aspects of instrument making can—or should—be replaced by modern machinery. Certain elements of tone, balance, and playing feel still depend on experienced hands and traditional methods. Our approach combines time-honored craftsmanship with contemporary professional design, resulting in instruments that are both reliable and musically expressive.
From the beginning, Sierman has worked closely with performers and educators, shaping our instruments through real-world feedback rather than abstract specifications. Our trombones, tubas, euphoniums, and low brass instruments have been recognized by professionals in China and abroad, and are actively used by performers, educators, and ensembles. In China, Sierman has also played a supportive role in the development of the bass brass community through education, collaboration, and instrument access.
Sierman instruments are designed to deliver professional-level performance while remaining accessible. Many musicians who choose Sierman find that the playing experience, response, and sound quality stand confidently alongside established European and American brands—without unnecessary cost or compromise.
We are still a young company by industry standards, and maintaining uncompromising quality has never been the easiest path. But every time we see a musician’s satisfaction—on stage, in the practice room, or in the classroom—we are reminded why this commitment matters.
Looking forward, Sierman continues to invest in research and development, international collaboration, and close dialogue with musicians worldwide. Passion drives our work, craftsmanship defines our process, and sound remains our ultimate goal.
Thank you for choosing Sierman.
Passion keeps us moving forward.
